How do professional musicians develop teaching young artists in the context of 21th century professional practice? What specific and relevant expertise and research can be found among our teachers? In what way can research deepen our practice of teaching and learning?

Those are the leading questions in the Professional Development Programme for teachers developed
by the lectorate ‘Docent 21e eeuw’, Teacher of the 21st century.

Op 1 april wordt er een studiedag gehouden voor docenten op het KC.


Inzichten over de psychische, mentale en fysieke aspecten van het studeren en musiceren zullen behandeld worden door collega’s die zich binnen hun werk aan het KC intensief met deze onderwerpen bezighouden.

Study Day for teachers

At April 1st a study day for teachers will be held at the KC.


Insights on psychological, mental and phsical aspects of studying and making music will be presented and discussed by colleagues who extensively work on these subjects in their teaching at the Royal Conservatoire.
